My why
When I first started my business, I was at a point in life where my creativity felt stifled. After getting my Bachelors Degree in Communication and Graphic Design in 2013, I spent years in corporate sales and customer service, finding myself yearning to create.
Spring of 2017, I found my husband's forgotten watercolor supplies and set up a small station at home. That was when everything changed. I painted every chance I could, becoming quickly obsessed with the medium. What started as a therapeutic, creative outlet, quickly became paid projects, artisan markets, workshops, and more.
The first time I painted live at a wedding in 2022, I witnessed the joy, laughter, and happy tears it sparked among couples and their guests. In that moment, I knew this was my calling.
Live wedding painting and guest portraits bring something truly meaningful and artful to every event.
So I went all in!

On the day-of, you can expect early arrival for us to set up, and create an interactive experience for you and your guests.
Afterwards, remaining artwork will be completed in the studio and an ETA will be provided.
Personally, I love starting with a discovery call to introduce ourselves, understand your goals, overall vision, and set expectations.
Through your client portal, you’ll have easy access to emails, contracts, and questionnaires to keep everything organized.
Check in points will be set up leading up to your event to ensure preparedness.

I have painted over 3,500 people over the last 5 years!
Obsessed with honeycrisp apples with peanut butter & walnuts.
When I'm not in the studio painting, I love spending time outdoors, gardening, and going on walks with my husband Dustin, and our two dogs, Bryce & Pepper.
Bonus Fact:
ClexO comes from ‘Cleo,’ the nickname (inspired by my astrology obsession) my friends affectionately gave me, & ‘xo’ (a nod to my Gossip Girl era).
it was 2012 when i made my instagram handle just so happened it became my business name as I continued to post my artwork there.
